I have over fifteen years experience in the practice of law, and I have compassionately and tirelessly advocated on behalf of my clients since 1998. My law practice includes immigration, family and bankruptcy law matters. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, California and my Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law. I am a member of the California State Bar, and also an active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA), Immigration Law and Family Law Section and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) where I served as the Custom and Border Protection liaison from 2005 through 2007. I have written numerous articles about immigration, family and bankruptcy law that have been published in the ethnic community newspapers that I serve. I am fluent in Hungarian.
I have also provided complex deportation defense pro bono through the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC) and volunteered at the LACBA Pro Bono Domestic Violence Project.
Sebastian Medvei, Esq.
Sebastian completed law school top of his class earning a cum laude distinction. He completed law school in two years
at Southwestern University School of Law and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley. While in school, Sebastian worked at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He was also a published member of the Southwestern Law Review.
